Christopher Longoria’s career behind the bar began in 2002 at the Korean Soju hotspot Rohan Lounge in San Francisco. There he was recognized as “Best Bartender to Confess Your Sins To” by the San Francisco Bay Guardian. He moved on to acclaimed Michelin Star rated restaurant Aziza for 5 years as the creative Bar Lead. He then led the restaurant 1760 to become a popular cocktail destination in California. He was the Bar Director of Che Fico (2017-2021), which was named one of the best restaurants in the country by Bon Appétit Magazine in 2018.
Recently, he formed a beverage consulting company called West Bev. Christopher and team develop beverage programs for restaurants, hotels, bars and shops. Their most recent project was the boutique hotel, The Madrona, in Healdsburg, Ca., see www.westbevconsulting.com for details. Christopher caters custom beverage menus for large corporate group events, with clients such as West Street, to more intimate gatherings. He is also an advisor to Somm Demand., a group that creates informative beverage tastings, for example, high-end Scotch and agave tastings. They also offer "about town" custom culinary experiences for you or your clientele.
